AR Experience featuring the 3D bust from Nefertiti (The Beautiful One Has Come).

Students at the Donview Middle School scan a poster or trigger image with their phones and the bust of Nefertiti comes to life!

The African folklore character of Anansi guided the students through a mysterious Virtual Reality (VR) adventure as they explored stories from the African Diaspora. Found in Stories was built as a group prototype for the Scale Up Immersive program, of which Debbie Deer was a participant from February - June 2022.

Creating Augmented Reality Filters with the Metaverse App.

As the final frontier of the workshop, the students of Donview Middle School built their own AR experience by creating a filter using the Metaverse App.
